SAN DIEGO: A 44-year-old man was attacked yesterday by a man with a machete after an argument at a University Heights home.

The man went to a residence on Alabama Street off Adams Avenue about 6:45 a.m., where he was attacked by a friend, San Diego police said. The victim, who was cut on the left hand and forearm, was taken to a hospital, police said.

Officers later arrested a man on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon. –D.B. & P.R.
